NASSK 2021 Summer Camp is on!

Dear Students and Instructors of North American San Shin Kai,
It is that time of year again when we begin preparing to meet in beautiful surroundings for an exciting weekend of Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido training and camaraderie! This year's location is one we have not been at in several years. It will be Camp Lokanda in the Catskill Mountains near Glen Spey in upstate New York. Camp Lokanda's facilities are among the best. The camp is located on 80 acres on a scenic 3-mile natural spring-fed lake. The bunks are comfortable, modern and clean with bathrooms, showers and beautiful lake views. Last time we were at Camp Lokanda, they had recently added a brand new dining hall and kitchen which is over 14,000 square feet! Attached to this building is a huge outdoor covered pavilion for outdoor eating and barbecue. All of the food served at Lokanda is Kosher and dairy and meat meals are never mixed. The Chef takes great pride in the variety and quality of the meals offered during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Of the many choices there is always a great salad bar with plenty of fresh options. The Social Hall is a large beautiful air-conditioned building that is spacious enough for a large group with wood floors appropriate for Iaido practice.
